Written by Everyone can think of a family member or relative or friend who never “had to stop to ask for directions.” Of course these scenarios sometimes end up in comical fashions as individuals refuse to ask for assistance from any type of source. I remember my dad would refuse to stop unless it was late and getting dark. The flip side to this is that to truly know where one is going used to involve having all sorts of maps and mini-atlases that were stuffed in glove compartments and in other stowaway places. No one knew anything about GPS Navigation. There are very few people who can get somewhere without solid directions or that can return to a place that has been visited before without additional help. Think of your wife or girlfriend who says we need to make a left right here. Don’t forget that when she tells you this there is a big delivery truck ten feet from your bumper and most likely it is full of what you really need. Bottom line is in today’s world we just need them.
