VIPER Festival

The AsylumHOME Team was invited to the VIPER Festival in Basel, Switzerland from the 16th to the 18th of March 2006. VIPER is a festival for new media projects and the festival jury was very interested in this
new website for asylum seekers.

We were part of a forum called "Next Generation" and we did a presentation about the AsylumHOME system in the Basel Kunsthalle. Here we talked about the situation of asylum seekers in Europe and how asylum seekers can benefit from using AsylumHOME.net. There was great interest and feedback from the audience and we made many good contacts for our future development of AsylumHOME.

The AsylumHOME Team never travels anywhere without also making a workshop for local asylum seekers, so on the 16th of March we made a workshop at a local training center for asylum seekers in Basel. Please see the: "Basel, Switzerland" entry to read more about this workshop.
