Outdoor Dining and Table Etiquette

That the sky is the ceiling and the table is a table picnic does not mean you can forget about outdoor dining and table etiquette. Basic table manners apply, especially if your picnic in a public place, and there are some additional rules that are specific to culinary experiences outdoors.
Location
If you dine in a park or playground, determine where you will eat. Some parks are equipped with tables picnic which are remote to give families some privacy, while others are all crowded under a pavilion. Choose a location that offers at least a bit of a buffer zone, both out of respect for privacy and also that your activity will not disturb others and theirs will not bother you.
Serve Food
Many picnics are served as a family, while others are at the buffet. Anyway, be sure you follow proper table etiquette. For the style of the family, and help you move from left to right. Never reach across the table for something, ask politely for it to be delivered to you. When you help chip cookies or something in a bag or box community, or shake the food on your plate or just touch what you are going to take and nothing else.
Eating foods picnic
Many food picnic is designed to be eaten with the fingers, then go ahead if it is widely acceptable finger food such as hot dogs, chips, olives, vegetables and dip and cupcakes. However, other food products that would normally be eaten with utensils should always be eaten out in this way, like salads, beans, cakes and pies. Be sure to have a towel handy when you eat finger foods so you can keep your hands clean at all times. Never lick your fingers clean. Of course, other good table manners always apply with outdoor dining, such as talking with your mouth full and sitting upright.
After eating
It is good table etiquette to clean up when finished. Immediately take whatever you used as an empty cup or soiled towel and head to the nearest dustbin. While in a restaurant or dinner at someone usually takes care of this task at a picnic over the tabulation is available. That and the relaxed atmosphere means you can erase you when you’re done.
